You can help by joining a fast-paced, hard working group of caring individuals as a Lab Tech Assistant I. This position is based in our Manufacturing Laboratory and will function as an important member of of that team.

As a Lab Tech Assistant I you will: Manufacture blood products including, but not limited to whole blood, platelets, plasma and red blood cells.Operate, maintain and perform quality control checks on lab equipment.Perform data entry and operate the computer programs associated with component production, labeling and storage.May perform receipt and triage of whole blood and blood components.May manufacture cryoprecipitate. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.One year of previous experience in a manufacturing or lab setting preferred.  Must be able to lift, pull, push and move objects up to 75 pounds in weight.  Must be able to work Monday - Friday 12PM - 8:30PM, work rotating weekends and holidays and on-call rotation.
