MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN

 

Primary ResponsibilitiesPerform testing for CBCs, Chemistry panels, Urinalysis, Coagulation Operate and maintain laboratory equipment Monitor and reconcile pending lists Participate in departmental training programs Specimen processing Prepare specimens for shipment Maintain various QA and QC records

 

Qualifications:Medical Laboratory Technician, Medical Technologist, or Veterinary Technician with good general laboratory testing skills including hematology, urinalysis, chemistry, serology BS degree or equivalent experience Minimum one year of clinical lab experience in a laboratory or veterinary clinic Good microscopy background Good computer background History of excellent attendance
