Lead Medical Technologist

Job Details:
Position Summary: Coordinates the work of others as assigned in a the Blood Bank in Tranfusion Medicine. Works with considerable independence to perform and interpret various tests to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Is an expert in the use of all equipment and procedures for an assigned area.

Position Qualifications: -Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or successful completion of an accredited four-year school of Medical Technology. -ASCP certification as an MT is preferred or equivalent required. -Five years of related experience with demonstrated leadership skills. -Solid understanding of regulatory requirements. -Must demonstrate effective interpersonal communication skills & ability to work independently and as a team. -Hours Variable.
