Lead Mixing Technician

Responsible for using correct materials according to written specifications to ensure quality, and production of the mixing department. Performs mixing duties when required. Enforce SOP's, GMP's, and Safety rules. Assists and trains employees in proper mixing procedures. Follows up out put and quality of mixing on their shift. Keep hoppers, screens and other supplies organized. Schedules mixing crew, complete paperwork, updated logbook, and follows up with maintenance department on any repairs or breakdowns. Communicate and interface with Supervisor. Work with Q.A. inspectors to keep logbooks updated. Enforce SOP's, GMP's, and comply with all Company safety policies and procedures. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Minimum one to three years of previous mixing and granulation experience preferred. Experience in pharmaceutical or related industry a plus. Effective verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to lift 50 lbs. required. Must be able to manipulate 50-90 lbs. by pushing, pulling or rolling. Ability to drive a forklift required.
