Program Overview:

CHL's Adult Mental Health Outpatient Clinic, located in Worcester, MA, sees 40,000 patient visits per year. The clinic is staffed by a multi-disciplinary team of services providers that includes licensed psychiatrists, licensed psychologists, nursing staff and several clinicians. While the clinic provides a wide variety of outpatient services, patient outreach, culturally appropriate programming and day rehab programs for adults, the clinic is recognized for its work in crisis stabilization, major mood disorders and its clozapine clinic.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

FT  (37 hrs/wk; benefit eligible) clinician to:

 

Work 20hrs/wk in conjunction with CHL's crisis stabilization unit to: Conduct assessments and evaluations.Develop and implement appropriate individualized treatment plans.Provide one on one counseling.To generate referrals, reports and referral, reports and to provide record keeping to crisis stabilization unit. Provide consultation and training to CSU staff

and clinician will work 17.5 hrs/wk in conjunction with CHL's PPMH Outpatient Clinic to:Conduct assessments and evaluations.Lead client orientation.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.Lead individual, group, and family counseling.Be responsible for case management and client education.Provide crisis intervention when needed.Generate appropriate referrals, reports and record keeping.Consult with other service providers.

Qualifications:

 Must be license eligible. Preference will be given to licensed clinicians - LMHC, LCSW, LICSW or licensed psychologists.Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, nursing or related field required. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in field preferred. Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
