POSITION 
SUMMARY:

The Licensed Practical Nurse performs duties in the Pediatric Gastroenterology division which indirectly supports patient care. Will schedule clinic appointments and procedures; answers and makes telephone calls, obtains prior authorizations; orders labs and obtains results; assists providers with clinic paperwork, prescription refills, faxes and letters; makes follow-up telephone calls for patient care management.



MINIMUM 
QUALIFICATIONS:

Vocational / technical training in Nursing; no previous work experience required.

State of New Mexico Licensed Practical Nurse.



PREFERRED 
QUALIFICATIONS: At least 2 years demonstrated experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse Demonstrated experience in an outpatient clinic setting Bilingual-English/Spanish
