MAMMOGRAPHER (Critical Need)

 

MAMMOGRAPHER Arlington, MA Day Shift

 

Our client in the Arlington area has a need for a MAMMOGRAPHER. This medical facility provides quality, cost effective care to patients delivered with excellence in service.

 

Under the general supervision of the Manager of Operations, the MAMMOGRAPHER technologist conducts Radiology/Mammography Technical examinations. Records all pertinent breast history from the patient and notes any discomfort or medical complaint which should be of importance to the Radiologist. Operates mammography equipment and performs mammography exams.Observes sterile and precaution techniques as necessary. Assists in maintaining established departmental policies and procedures and safety control. Cleans and maintains all accessory equipment (i.e., film, screens, and working area).Demonstrates breast self-examination if required.







Requirements:





MSRT/ARRT (M)

RTR with additional certification/licensure in mammography.

Specialized training in mammography

One year minimum experience 

Requires knowledge of principles and procedures of diagnostic radiology and mammography and the operation and maintenance of radiologic equipment to include mammography.
