MANAGER, ANCILLARY SCHEDULING

National Jewish Medical and Research Center located in Denver, Colorado is seeking a Manager to oversee administrative flow of the adult clinical services. Accountable for adult patient flow prior to clinician visit. Oversees Concierge and Adult Ancillary Scheduling. Procedure Unit schedulers and Psych-Social Medicine scheduler are included in areas of responsibility.  Responsible for the overall quality and flow of the ancillary area. Will adjust procedures and flow as necessary.EVIDENCE OF QUALIFICATIONS:Education: Bachelors Degree in Business, Health Care Administration or related field.Experience: Three to five years of management experience in a healthcare settingOr some combination of education and experienceSpecial Skills: Demonstrated ability to handle multiple demands simultaneously, Demonstrated effective problem solving skills, Demonstrated computer skills both with PC’s and common business software. Demonstrated analytical skills and project management experience. Demonstrated effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills, including handling difficult customers. Demonstrated strong management skills. Demonstrated experience prioritizing and organizing work in an environment with frequent interruptions.
