Relevant Work Experience: 1+ to 2 Years Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Company: Golden Living Email: Apply by Email Fax: 479-478-2696 Reference Code: 149007 MDS Coordinator/Director of Resident Assessments $5000 Sign on Bonus Coordinates or assists in the development and completion of the resident assessment process in accordance with the requirements of the Federal and state regulations as well as Company policy and procedures.  QUALIFICATIONS: • A current, active license  RN license. • Minimum two (2) years of clinical experience in a health care setting. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a long-term care setting. • Prior experience as an MDS coordinator with demonstrated expertise. • Demonstrates clinical assessment skills at the level necessary to meet the job requirements. • Ability to make independent decisions on a regular basis. • Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care. • Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work with an interdisciplinary care team. • Basic understanding of computer technology, including email use. • Proven written and oral communication skills. • Proven decision-making and analytical skills. • Able to relate positively, favorably and cooperatively with others, including, associates, residents, family members, and personnel of outside agencies and organizations. • Must be able to travel, including overnight stays. • Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance. • Must meet all local health regulations and pass post-employment physical exam if required. This requirement also includes drug screening, criminal background investigation and reference inquiry. • Must be capable of performing the Essential Job Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
