MEDICAL ASSISTANT I - NEUROLOGY

Talbert Medical Group - a leader in providing excellent medical care in Orange and LA counties, is looking for an experienced Medical Assistant I for specialty area of Neurology.

As Medical Assistant I; primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Prepare treatment rooms and steralize equipment. Interview patients, measure vital signs and document information into EPIC (electronic medical records).  Assist Neurologist with minor proceduresd, coordinate MRI scans, obtain and coordinate EEG, ECG reports,insurance referrals,  phone coverage. Position will float in primary care when needed. Maintain patient's dignity by protecting the patient's right to privacy, confidentiality and safety.





Requirements
Qualified candidates will have High School diploma, Medical Assistant certificate from recognized school, current CPR with minimum 2 + years of Medical Assistant experience; any experience in Neurology helpful, excellent organizational and patient care skills. Bilingual in Spanish preferred, electronic medical records experience a plus! Position is Monday - Friday and offers competitive hourly rate with excellent benefit package!
