Mail Order Pharmacy Manager

Because of our exploding growth we are looking for a Mail Order Pharmacy Manager. 

 

The Mail Order Pharmacy Manager competently performs staff pharmacist duties while managing mail order fulfillment workflow, resource scheduling, development and counseling of clinical pharmacy staff.  Works closely with Script-Wise Operations Manager to ensure overall mail order excellence to meet the goals of the Progressive Medical Inc. pharmacy program and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. 



 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

 

Meets requirements for Home Delivery pharmacist, including participation in regular rotation of duties/stations. 

 

Provides supervision, direction, coaching, development, council, etc., to other Home Delivery pharmacists.

 

Monitors and ensures compliance with Ohio State Pharmacy Board regulations, as well as other state boards as applicable. 

 

Serves as a consultant/resource to the Director of Pharmacy Client Services, sales team, or other members of leadership when clinical/mail order operational expertise is required. 



 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

Education, Training and/or Experience

 

Pharmacy degree

At least one year mail order pharmacy experience

Previous experience working with prescription drug enforcement agencies.

 

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

 

RPh as required by law.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

2-3 years previous supervisory experience, previous experience working with prescription drug enforcement agencies. 

The work will be performed in a general office environment.  Saturday morning rotation with other Home Delivery pharmacists, quarterly audits or as requested by Finance some of which are on Saturday. May require availability for extended hours during peak periods.
