Maintenance Technician

Location: Jacksonville, FL 32246 Job duties include but are not limited to the following: Job duties include but are not limited to the following: *Responsible for the care, maintenance and repair of corporate buildings and equipment *Operate and perform maintenance on chillers, air handlers, pumps, lighting, fire alarm systems (to include fire panel operations), light plumbing, basic electrical work, painting, furniture assembly and repair Job Requirements: *High school diploma or GED equivalent *2+ years maintenance or related building operations experience *Experience working on a computer in a Windows environment *Valid driver's license with good driving/motor vehicle history, including no serious violations *Must be able to work day, night and weekend shift rotation, including overtime *Due to physical nature/responsibilities of this position, a physical assessment will be required as part of the selection process Business Specific Criteria (Preferred Skills): *Previous maintenance experience *Maintenance or building operations experience within a commercial or corporate environment *Experience working with digital facility automation system *Related license or certification Physical Environment: Must be able to sit, stand, be mobile, climb, balance, write, and bend for 2+ hours per day; Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry 61 to 75 lbs.; Must be able to work in the following conditions: cold, hot, wet and/or dry, noisy, vibrating, fumes, and dust; Must be able to hear to converse, hear to use the telephone, talk, smell, read at a distance of 1 to 5 ft. and read at a distance of 10 to 30 ft.; Regular driving; Must be able to wear air respirator and steeled toe shoes.
