Maintenance Worker

RHD is a progressive non-profit providing residential support to adults with developmental disabilities.  We are currently looking for maintenance support staff for residential property maintenance.  The position offers new and interesting challenges on a daily basis, so the ideal candidate must have a willingness to learn and adapt previous knowledge in order to solve problems. 

 

The maintenance support staff must have experience and/or a working knowledge of all trades, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, appliance repair, tiling, and locksmithing.  Must be able to do some heavy lifting (examples of heaviest items include washer/dryer, refrigerator, A/C units and furniture).  Part-time position preferred; full-time possible.  Candidate must have own reliable transportation and tools.  Must have a valid driver's license in good standing.  All applicants must complete a background check.  Please send resumes to: Lforrest@rhdboston.org
