Manager, Account Service
Chief corporate representative to assigned customers for all service-related issues. Serve as the key go to person for the buyer, Account Executive, and senior management. Coordinate service team to organize all launches, promotions, orders, shipments, invoicing, and organize general customer-specific intelligence for the Company.Work with Account Executive, Account Marketing, and Account to systematically communicate promotions, potential problems, phase-ins, phase-outs, and other major demand changes. Review forecasts, POS data, etc. To ensure system integrity Periodically visit accounts' buyers (with Account Executive), receiving, operations, and stores to identify opportunities to improve competitiveness and build relationships. Ensure orders are received, fulfilled, shipped, invoiced, and delivered in an accurate, timely, and user friendly manner. Track, manage, and lead resolution of any deviations to improve Corporate competitiveness. Provide visible performance monitoring reports as needed to sales, marketing, senior management, etc. Coordinates distribution of the customer orders to the shipping floor by evaluating open order positions, inventory reports and daily production output, to ensure level loading of shipping floor in order to meet corporate financial targets. Estimates staff requirements, schedules and assigns work to staff to execute the above. Supervises, coordinates, provides leadership to, reviews the work of, and authorizes the overtime of assigned staff. Plans day to day staff operations; develops, evaluates, recommends changes to, and implements work methods within assigned area of responsibility, and applies company policies and ensures adherence to departmental and company procedures. Interviews and suggests candidates for employment, conducts performance evaluations, salary reviews, and recommends termination when necessary.
Bachelor's degree in a business related field. Five years experience in customer service with a minimum of three years management experience. Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize IBM PC-compatible computer, including Windows, WordPerfect for Windows, Word, and Lotus for Windows and Excel. Proven ability to take the initiative, think independently, confidently and effectively direct the activities of subordinates required. Knowledge of and experience in MRPII preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills necessary. APICS certification preferred
