Summary of Position Description

Responsible for facilitation and coordination of ongoing activities and special projects to support institutional compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements as they apply to JCAHO and state and federal expectations.

To coordinate and help to manage MMCs activities relative to insuring its compliance with regulatory requirements and JCAHO standards. This manager will work with all levels of Medical Staff, Nursing, other clinical and support leadership to meet the responsibilities of the position.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

1. Masters degree required, clinical concentration preferred.

2. Minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressively responsible clinical and administrative experience, hospital based preferred.

3. Analytical skills required.

4. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.

5. Able to effectively organize resources to meet regulatory and accreditation goals.

6. Able to act independently and initiate activities to reach closure on institution goals.
