The Western Pennsylvania Hospital – Forbes Regional Campus is a 318-bed community acute care hospital located in Monroeville, Pennsylvania, an eastern suburb of Pittsburgh.  Forbes offers a complete array of surgical, medical and inpatient rehabilitation services.  The facility offers care in bariatric surgery, cardiology, diabetes, diagnostic imaging, emergency medicine, gynecology, hospice care, neurology, obstetrics, oncology, orthopedics, outpatient surgery, pediatrics and psychiatry.  Our Emergency Department is one of the busiest in the region, logging more than 41,000 visits annually.  Forbes has just undergone a $24 million initiative to enhance the scope of clinical services adding Cardiac Surgery and Cardiac Interventional Services and construction begins soon on a new Joint Care Center.

 

Forbes is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to manage our 30-bed Medical Surgical Orthopedic Unit.  Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in Pennsylvania and have prior experience with post-surgical orthopedic patients.  Seeking candidates with management or supervisory experience to be a leader for staff and to manage all functions of the unit including hiring and budgetary accountability.  This new manager will play a key role in the development of our new Joint Care Center.
