Join us and find the career of a lifetime. This person will be responsible for the assistance and supervision of all phases of technical and administrative activities of Instrument Processing. The incumbent will establish and maintain rapport with instrument processing customers to provide assistance with the selection, processing and usage of instruments and equipment. This position will enforce compliance with all Infection Control, JCAHO, DOH, federal, state, local and hospital and department regulations. This incumbent will be sharing in the responsibility for the orientation, training, supervision and evaluation of all reporting employees. He/she shall perform additional quality control duties as assigned by the Director. Extensive experience in Surgical/Central Processing Services or Surgical Field. Previous supervisory or managerial experience preferred. Surgical Technologist diploma/certification preferred. Thorough knowledge related to sterile processing technique, procedures and standards as set by accreditation and regulatory agencies.
