*** Manager - Patient Care Development-Ancillary [ 14694 ]***This position is responsible for evaluation, design, testing, implementation, and upgrades of the clinical applications, specifically in the area of Pharmacy, Emergency Department, and OR areas. Software technical expert and primary resource for ancillary applications. Manages ancillary application projects and staff within IST Patient Care Systems Development. This role will coordinate with end-users, vendors, and consultants which will include duties such as running meetings, gathering requirements and managing budgets. Will serve as project manager on assigned projects, or work with project managers on other projects or staffing requirements. Performs workflow analyses and recommends process changes to enhance departmental productivity. Strong trouble shooting and communication skills used for implementation of the ancillary applications. Assist in the development of tactics and approaches to support the mission and strategies of Exempla Healthcare. This role will facilitate cross-functional teams for the management of a project environment with an emphasis on quality, productivity, and consistency. Responsibilities will include planning, estimating, scheduling, tracking, controlling, hiring, performance evaluations, goal setting and measuring. The Manager will act as a change agent. Minimum Requirements - Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of IST background within Healthcare. Management experience with leading projects extremely important. Heavy communication skills with senior hospital leaders important.
