Manager - Product Management

Description:
Manager - Product Management needed for global Investment Manager and FINRA registered Broker-Dealer in Chicago, IL to be responsible for implementation of new products, coordination of performance reporting and oversight of department providing critical analysis of investments as it relates to NAV, cash management, investment restrictions and constraints as well as oversight of service providers.

Responsibilities:Participate in analysis and transition of responsibilities from other departmentsImplement the setup of new products acting as liaison between Marketing, Sales, PSS, and PSFM Oversee relationships with service providersDevelop, enhance and review routine reporting for Constraints testing, credit facility reporting, cash management, client reporting and other weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting within departmentReview FX and hedging activities and recommendationsOversee leverage recommendations and execution for onshore and offshore portfoliosReview recalculations of NAV and fees for all on and offshore portfolios; review regulatory reporting including year end financial statements in conjunction with annual auditOversee compilation of manager performance information within FIRST and ensure accuracy with valuation agents. Address specialized reporting requests including performance drift reportsAssist in addressing performance issues affecting portfolios and review of monthly/quarterly reporting of performance for various marketing presentations and client reporting including proforma performance calculationsRecommend system enhancements which will make processes more efficientProvide feedback to management on human resource issues

Qualifications:5+ years experience within Investment Advisory, Hedge Funds or Brokerage Operations Department3+ strong accounting backgroundExperience in project management, development and documentation of new processes and proceduresExperience with regulatory requirements within Investment Advisory and SEC regulated entitiesManagement and team-building skillsBachelor's Degree, preferably with business emphasis (4217B~)
