Manager, Special Projects The Manager, Special Projects for the Network Department is responsible for documenting and monitoring all aspects of the provider cycle and reporting on these activities to network leadership in the defined format. In addition the incumbent will assume responsibility for defined processes within the provider cycle as assigned and will manage projects related to network development, required deliverables, and inter-departmental activities.  The manager, special projects documents and monitors status of provider cycle from provider  identification through contracting conclusion, prepares weekly outlier report for network leadership, and performs related tasks in the process assigned.  A master's degree in business of related field along with five years of health care experience is required.  Experience in project management, behavioral health and/or managed care is preferred.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.  A demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple projects from initiation to completion within prescribed time frame is required.  A demonstrated proficiency with all MS-Office products is also required.  Attention:  CS Apply at www.upmc.com by following these steps; click Careers at UPMC, Start My Job Search, and follow the link to continue to search and apply for openings.
