Job Description: The purpose of this job is to improve efficiencies, quality and service within Client Operations by diagnosing process improvement opportunities, designing/implementing operational solutions, and building and managing an audit team. Working with the Director, the incumbent will interface with channel partners, clients, and other teams within the organization to ensure the success of the department’s goals and objectives.Primary Responsibilities: Operating efficiency Diagnose process improvement opportunities Perform process mapping Recommend, develop and implement integrated solutions to enhance efficiency and performance within the department and improve customer satisfaction.Solutions will support implementation, integrations and other client operations functions. Develop auditing tools and best practices to measure and improve quality, accuracy and service within the department. Develop and manage a highly effective team in support of this function. Interface with various stakeholders. Create and build relationships across segments and functions that promote trust and communication. Gather data and information from clients, vendors, channel partners, others. Analyze issues, and break down components into actionable solutions. Create policies, procedures, and training material to support operational resources. Prepare status reports, documentation, and presentation materials detailing implementation, audit and other department initiatives. RFP deliverables. Travel as needed to support analysis and implementation of client solutions (10-20%).Qualifications: BA/BS degree in business/related field. Minimum 5-7 years healthcare-related experience preferred. Proven track record of process improvement; auditing, consulting, client implementation and/or related operational experience strongly preferred. Creative problem-solver with an eye to detail. Delivers exceptional performance and high-quality work; self-motivated, dependable, results-driven. Proven ability to apply business acumen to process improvement projects, with measurable outcomes. Demonstrated ability to grasp strategic direction as well as develop tactical plans. Ability to build strong business relationships, influence others and work effectively in a matrix environment. Strong organizational, analytical skills and process design skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven project management skills. Previous management experience. Understanding of UHG/UHC products, services and solutions preferred.
