Manager of Coding

Bachelor's degree & RHIA, RHIT, CCS or CPC preferred. Requires minimum of 3 years exp in HIM directly related to acute care specific job duties.  Manages coding operations at 3 hospital campuses; supervision of personnel; policy & procedure implementation; quality assurance; manage projects designed to improve billing practices&increase revenues.  Seeking a self-starter who demonstrates a proven record of leadership, service excellence, and a team player.

9.  Knowledge of operational characteristics and procedural requirements of charging and third party medical insurance payors.
10. Ability to analyze and correct quality problems related to all aspects of health care coding and billing.  
11. Ability to assess training and in-service needs in area of specialty, and to provide consultation and arrange/facilitate
training and seminars.
