Manager of Marketing Communications

 The Manager of Marketing Communications develops and implements strategic marketing communications plans that support organizational objectives. This manager has primary responsibility for producing the Graceworks Lutheran Services Annual Report and other brand communications, coordinating advertising and advancing e-marketing strategy for the organization and its major service lines and affiliated programs, including Bethany Village.

 

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, marketing communications or related field; exceptional writing, editing and verbal communication skills; highly developed project management and organizational skills; motivation to meet high quality standards; attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively with middle and senior management in implementing marketing communications plans. 

 

Eight to ten years of experience is required including project management, web-based marketing, writing and production of annual reports and other publications, and development and implementation of marketing plans that support strategic objectives. Prior experience should include branding and market positioning as well as development of media strategies that build brand awareness.  To be considered, candidates should have working knowledge of desktop publishing (such as PageMaker), Power Point and website content development software.
