Market Product Manager

SUMMARY
HealthTrans, a Pharmacy Benefit Administration company, seeks a seasoned product management/marketing professional to aid in the development/day-to-day management of core products. Market product manager will play a key role in product/audience definition, product launches, sales strategies, as well as coordination with internal marketing resources in development of product collateral, advertising, presentations, RFP language, and other promotions.
Preliminarily, the primary focus for this role will be on our Value-Based Network (VBN) product sold into the employer market, but other products will be added to their mix, as needs arise. This position also serves as the primary business liaison between HealthTrans’ Sales Team, Marketing Team and Operations Team and Value-Based Network members (retailers) whose role and responsibilities will be to ensure execution and coordination of the agreed upon co-marketing plan that results in meeting both HealthTrans and the Value Based Network members financial objectives.
Because product management is a relatively new discipline within the organization, it is imperative that the candidate bring core knowledge of/experience in execution of product management disciplines, including product lifecycle methodologies, pricing, requirements gathering, ROI measures, competitive intelligence, marketing strategies, and more. Standardized processes and procedures instituted by this position will cascade out to other areas within the business.
POSITION DUTIES
Identify market opportunity (either via market intel or client requirement)

Package the product
– Outline product offering

Build product (i.e. software)

Launch Product
– Manage co-marketing relationship between HealthTrans and Value-Based network Retail Chain Partners including but not limited to:
• Rules of engagement for sales process
• Operational guidelines
• Pull-through on employer sales working with PBA Sales Team
• Document, track and report quarterly increase in chain’s prescription volume for each new customer sold within the VBN participant’s respective market
• Provide marketing support at sales demonstrations and conferences, as requested.

– Coordinate and oversee all tasks involved with the implementation of specified new accounts. This includes site visits, requirements definition, implementation planning, and presentations.
– Analyze client requirements, needs and problems to recommend appropriate business solutions for utilization of claims adjudication applications.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree is required. Degree in Marketing, Business, Pharmacy or related healthcare area preferred.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
· 4-6 years experience in product management/marketing communications management, preferably in healthcare/pharmaceutical industry.
· Ability to Interface with all levels of personnel and interdepartmental areas, internally/externally.
· Strong presentation skills to aid in sales and finalist presentations.
· Must possess exceptional interpersonal, analytical and written/oral communication skills and the ability to work and thrive in a pressure-filled, fast-paced, team-oriented, high-growth, and rewarding environment.
· Excellent organizational and planning skills.
· Ability to achieve positive and successful results in a fast paced changing environment.
ACCOUNTABILITY
To ensure product and sales objectives are achieved through successful Value-Based Network member management and promoting inter-departmental relationships. To ensure execution and coordination of the agreed upon co-marketing plan that results in meeting both HealthTrans and the Value-Based Network members financial objectives.
