Rapidly expanding company is acquiring a contract in your area for a possible opening for a Full time Medicaid Eligibility Program Manager.

The Medicaid Eligibility Program Manager is expected to draw on existing knowledge of Medicaid, SSI, and various other third party funding options, requirements, application process, and eligibility guidelines as well as to develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of hospital and company software. A strong commitment to customer service, patient care, company growth and ethics is expected.

Persons in the position:

- monitor productivity and performance of Eligibility Program staff;

- plan, direct, and coordinate staff activity and work schedules to ensure company goals and objectives are successfully met;

- actively participate in hiring, developing, and reviewing employees and their performance;

- act as liaison to the client facility and monitor quality of service;

- serve as the primary contact for problem resolution and information gathering regarding production reports, patient information, and application status/follow-through;

- develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of developments in the field to ensure currency and make recommendations;

- report to senior department management under general, but remote, supervision; and

- have functional responsibility for one or more specific areas, projects, or divisions.

Education/Experience Minimum Requirement

- Minimum of 5 years eligibility experience, preferrably managing a program;

- Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience; and/or

- Four-year college degree or comparable combination of education & experience.
