Medical Aesthetician (Esthetician)  / Medical Assistant  - Needed for busy Cosmetic Dermatology/General Medical Office.

Qualifications:

 Must have a valid/current Florida Aesthetician license. 5-7 years experience performing chemical peels, microdermabrasion & facials. Must be fluent in English. Bilingual a plus (English and Spanish) Experience selling medical-grade skin care product lines and cross-selling/up-sell other services. Exceptional customer sales and retention skills. Professional appearance. Self-motivated, dedicated, with the ability to market yourself and the services you provide. Must have strong computer skills. Ability to become team member and multi-task in a fast-paced medical environment.  Emotionally mature and balanced. Excellent phone skills and etiquette. Must be willing to expand to medical and surgical assisting and perform required administrative duties. Have skills in leadership, team building, organization, time management, program development, strategic planning and problem-solving and who can represent the Medical Office in a professional and effective manner.

 

Duties:

 Conduct treatment and sales consultations with clients to identify goals and recommend services and products to achieve optimal results while ensuring client safety. Willingness to adapt work schedule to suit client appointments. Perform non-invasive services such as chemical peels, microdermabrasion and facials. Educate clients on necessity for home care and recommend and sell products and services to meet their skin care needs. Regular follow-up with clients after consultations and treatments. Field incoming phone calls & answering questions about products and procedures. Assist in office surgery and laser procedures including Hair Restoration Surgery, Skin Cancer Surgery, IPL Laser Hair Removal and IPL Photofacials, Laser Spider Vein and Tattoo Removal, BOTOX® injections and Dermal Fillers. Perform ECG's, Chest X-Rays, schedule and confirm appointments, verify insurance, document imaging and data entry. Knowledge of  aesthetic procedures offered in the practice including BOTOX®, Restylane®, Perlane®, Juvederm®, Cosmoplast® and other Dermal Fillers. Responsible for ordering and maintaining products inventory, vendor relations, over-looking customer service and making sure the office is running smoothly. Provide exceptional customer service to customers and potential customers.
