Medical Assistant/Administrative

Under the general direction of the Clinical Coordinator, the Medical Assistant (MA) is to provide quality patient care first and foremost. Ensuring patients are fully prepared to see the provider and assist the provider with patient care when requested.



Responsibilities:



Prepare patients to be seen by provider, which would include taking vital signs, triage, dressing, and assist provider with patient exams.



Perform routine immunizations and phlebotomy services as required by the provider using basic laboratory instruments and established techniques.



Ensure all specimens are sent out daily, whether put in lab boxes or calling an outside source to pick up for overnight delivery.



Perform visual testing using Titmus machine and Snelling chart.



Perform PFTs, audio testing, and EKGs for routine physicals.



In accordance with company policy and/or Department of Transportation Regulations (DOT) conduct instant drug testing and/or collection of urine to ensure specimens are sent to laboratory for analysis.



Maintain center (e.g., clean and orderly, supplies and stock, routine maintenance.).



Required to work at any of the Taylor Made designated locations and/or mobile on-sites.



Perform all required clerical and/or receptionist functions as required (e.g., answering telephone, filing, data entry, scanning).



Other duties and/or special projects as tasked based upon company necessity and your defined scope of work.



Occasional weekends and/or evenings hours required. Variable scheduled shifts based up operational hours of your designated clinic.



Position requires flexibility of your schedule based upon company needs.
