Medical Assistant - Circulator

Children's Heart Center is currently hiring a Medical Assistant (Circulator) for our Main office in Las Vegas, NV:

 

Hours:  F/T - Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:30pm

 

Job Summary
Performs the following diagnostic testing on patients: height, weight, EKG, blood pressure, treadmills, pulse oximetry, holter monitoring, event monitoring, finger sticks, preparing patients for echo, and assisting R.N. with preparing patients for sedation.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

§  Responsible for patient flow throughout office.

§  Data entry-entering all Echo logs.

§  Responsible for copying and mailing Echo tapes

§  Responsible for tracking all Echo tapes and purge tapes when necessary.

§  Assists receptionist in answering phones when needed.

§  Other duties as assigned

 

Qualification Requirements/Experience

Entry level.  Experience in a medical setting preferred.

 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

CPR certification a plus. Must possess computer skills. Ability to perform MA tasks.

 

Education

Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent. AA degree in the Medical Field or Certified Medical Assistant preferred. Externship experience in MA program preferred.
