West Seattle Family Medicine - FT Must have ability to work every other Saturday.

Island Family Medicine / Vashon - FT and Temp positions available. Must be able to work every other Saturday.  Will consider CNA for temp position.

MA Float Pool - PT  Must have ability to travel.Fast learner. Great communication skills.

Job description:

Assists patients and providers by providing and collecting information, services, and assistance.

Duties:

* Verifies patient information by interviewing patient; recording medical history; confirming purpose of visit and chief complaint.

* Prepares patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature; reporting patient history summary.

* Assist with office procedures, performs EKG's, UA dips, blood draws, injections and other duties as assigned

* Secures patient information and maintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records; completing fee tickets for diagnostic coding and procedure coding; keeping patient information confidential.

* Assists in completing referrals, faxing, chart prep,

* Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.

* Assures rooms are stocked, all medications and supplies with an expiration date are current.

* Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; notifying manager of needed  maintenance; calling for repairs.

* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; attends meetings and training as required by clinic.

* Serves and protects the practice by adhering to professional standards of performance, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.

* Participates as a team member in reaching our patient and satisfaction goals. Participates in one committee per month. Understands and supports the values and mission of Highline Medical Group. 

Skills/Qualifications:

Completion of approved MA program, Computer skills, Back office skills, lab, blood draws, injections,vitals, X-ray skills a plus, not required,Medical Terminology, Verbal and Written Communication skills, Infection Control,  Organization, Scheduling, Professionalism, Customer Focus, Confidentiality,Able to work as part of a team.
