JOB DETAILS: Scheduled hours per week: 40.00, Begin and end Times: 8:00 AM-5:00PM; Days of work: Monday through Friday SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting nursing staff and physician in evaluating and treating patients. Performs diagnostic procedures, drug screen collections, laboratory blood draws, and assists with clinical procedures. Responsible for maintaining testing equipment, supplies and procedure logs. Manages employer random selection processes. Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS:EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh school graduate with six months to one year formal education or training beyond the high school level. SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGEPrior experience functioning as a medical assistant, administering care to patients, assessments, and triage calls. Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy. Basic math and computer skills. KIND and LENGTH of EXPERIENCEOne to two years medical office experience required.
