Medical Biller - Payment Posting

This position requires one to two years’ healthcare experience, excellent, verifiable 10-key skills and 45 wpm typing, strict attention to detail and a good attendance work history.

 

As a Medical Biller – Payment Posting, your responsibilities will include:

 Entering payments received into patient’s account.Transferring balances to patient or secondary insurance when applicable.Reviewing EOBs and corresponding with insurance carriers regarding discrepancies in amounts paid or services rejected.Working with collection agencies to verify patient account status.Completing all tasks necessary to process patient refunds.Other duties as assigned.
