We specialize in personalized treatment programs caring for various conditions with the latest manual therapy techniques and state of the art equipment.

Position Description
SPT is accepting resumes for experienced medical billing/collections candidates. This part-time (20 hours/week) position allows for a flexible schedule. The successful candidate will have a certificate in medical billing, or some formal training from an accredited vocational or career training school.  An eye for details, data entry and strong communication skills are essential.

Position Requirements:
1-2 years experience preferred in medical billing/collections specific duties to include:
- Processing insurance claims
- Entering insurance payments
- Verifying insurance benefits
- Collecting unpaid balances
- Handling A/R >60 days
- Generating Reports (Income, W/O, A/R, etc.)
- Ensuring all accounts are in good standing for proper payment

Required skills:
- Comfortable collecting unpaid balances by making collection calls
- Knowledge using Eclipse software
- Pleasant, articulate telephone acumen
- Attention to detail
- Understands Medical Terminology
- Basic understanding of Anatomy
- Proper form completion
- Required coding
