Medical Billing Specialist - Chiropractic Assistant

Busy and energetic chiropractic office is looking for a chiropractic assistant/medical billing specialist to join our team!  This position would be perfect for someone who is looking for an environment that is fun, high energy and has lots of room for growth.  Experience with all aspects of medical billing is a MUST.  We would prefer experience in a chiropractic office but would be willing to train a candidate that is enthusiastic about natural health care and chiropractic.
About us:  Our office specializes in pain management and functional improvement utilizing chiropractic, acupuncture, spinal decompression, massage therapy, cold light laser and physiotherapy.  The combination of services provides a very special, customized treatment that is very effective.

About the job:  This position is primarily medical/chiropractic billing including managing the charts, posting data, corresponding with insurance companies, handling appeals and denials, workers comp, PI, major med and more using Medisoft.  We cross train our staff so this position involves assisting the doctors in the therapy room, helping with patient flow; check in and out, collection, scheduling, insurance verification, reminder/patient calls and general duties. 

About you:  The ideal candidate will have experience with chiropractic medical billing including the items listed above.  Experience and detailed knowledge of medical billing is required, we would be willing to train the right person on the chiropractic side

You MUST be:  friendly, professional, organized, a team player, punctual, detail oriented, dependable, intelligent, honest and ambitious.  You must be able to think on your feet, make patients comfortable, be reassuring and be able to multitask while keeping a smile on your face.


Experience and general knowledge of basic computer programs such as Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook is required.  Knowledge of Medisoft is a plus.

Compensation:  The position pays $12-$15 to start and comes with a good benefit package including health insurance option, paid vacation, lots of perks and bonuses and includes chiropractic and acupuncture for you and your immediate family.
