Medical Billing Trainer

Priority Management Group, Inc. (PMG), a medical billing and coding consulting company specializing in Community Health Center billing, is hiring a medical billing trainer. The medical billing trainer plans, coordinates, and directs medical billing training programs for PMG by performing the following duties:Conducts needs analysis studies and confers with managers and supervisors to determine training needs.Formulates training policies, programs, and schedules, based on knowledge of identified training needs, company production processes, business systems, or changes in products, procedures, or services.Selects appropriate instructional procedures or methods such as individual training, group instruction, self study, lectures, demonstrations, simulation exercises, role play, and computer-based training.Organizes and develops training manuals, reference library, testing and evaluation procedures, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials.Maintains records and prepares statistical reports to evaluate and monitor progress of trainees.Drafts applications and proposals to submit to fund granting authorities such as government and foundations.

Minimum Job Qualifications

Education/Training: Minimally Associates Degree, preferably Bachelors Degree

Business Experience: At least five years of experience in health care billing and two years training    experience

Specialized Knowledge/Skills: Must be able to communicate effectively through written and verbal communications. Must be able to effectively train employees in medical billing functions. Must be able to perform intermediate math. Must be flexible in accepting and carrying out work assignments. Must be able to work as part of a team. Must be able to deal with frequent interruptions. Must have knowledge of Medical Billing Software. Must have knowledge of keyboarding and Windows Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).
