We are looking for positive, high energy, and motivated candidates to assist us in expanding our team. We are NOT an employment agency. This growing, fast pace, healthcare based organization is looking for potential team members who have excellent customer service and communication skills.  Must have a clean background and reliable transportation. Must be able to multi-task while maintaining a professional / polished appearance and demeanor. All positions responsible for daily/weekly/monthly projects and reports.  Must be computer literate with good keyboarding skills, Monday-Friday, day shift .

 

Bad Debt: One or more years of credit/collections and skiptracing, and or experience in third party medical collections. Collecting cash payment in fulls, negotiating payrment arrangements, monitoring, and pursuing delinquent accounts.  Investigative and negotiation skills are a must.  Collects delinquent accounts by establishing payment arrangements with patients; monitoring payments; following up with patients when payment lapses occur.  Knowledge of medical billing practices a plus. Requires adherence to the FDCPA as well as HIPAA guidelines.

 

Skip Tracer / Data Processing: responsible for inventory, projects, clean up reports, and skip tracing

 

Insurance Follow Up: One or more years of Managed Care, Workers Comp, HMO, PPO, insurance billing, follow up, and clean up. Must be highly motivated with an understanding of proper prioritization of deadlines, familiar with capitation, contracts, and willingness to follow all laws, statutes, and updates to our industry that come through training and application.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

 

· Ability to pleasantly multi-task in a fast paced environment with high volumes

· Professionally pleasant and polished phone demeanor

· typing and alpha numeric skills 35 wpm, 6k kph 

· Ability to adapt to multiple software systems

· Investigative skills

· Knowledge of FDCPA and HIPAA regulations

· Self motivated

· Results oriented

· Attention to detail

· Experience in medical collections.

· Familiarity with insurance reimbursement a plus

· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
