Medical Communications Agency Seeks Sr. HR Generalist!

 

Job Title:  Senior Human Resources Generalist

Human ResourcesReports to:  Group Marketing and Talent Officer

Location: Stamford, CT

FLSA Status: Exempt

 

 

Job Summary:   Provide direction and implementation on all Human Resources functions.

 

Primary Responsibilities:Manages recruitment process for all open positions including sourcing, screening, interviewing and follow-up.Compiles and maintains resume database of  competition into ATS (Applicant Tracking System).

Principal Responsibilities:Manages the on-boarding process beginning with the offer letter through the new hire orientation.Manages the Performance Management process including the 90-day introductory period and the annual review process.Deals with all employee relations issues.Assists employees with benefit enrollment and changes.Develops and administers various human resources plans, policies and procedures for all employees in conjunction with Corporate Human Resources.Maintains Human Resources Information Systems records and compiles reports from database.Maintains compliance with all federal and state regulations concerning employment.Manages terminations and conducts exit interviews providing feedback and retention concerns with Management.Collaborates and assists the Group Marketing and Talent Officer and Talent Acquisition Manager with on-going projects, procedures and other Human Resources initiatives as they relate to recruiting efforts.Assists company President and Operations staff with issues/assignments on an as needed basisPerforms projects ad hoc.

 

Job Requirements:Bachelors Degree with a minimum of five (5) years experience in the Human Resources field OR;Masters Degree in Human Resource Management and three (3) years experience in the Human Resources fieldStrong recruiting and “people” skillsAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information  Excellent verbal and written communication skillsSuperior interpersonal skillsAbility to make sound judgmentsMust be self directed, organized and have the ability to multi-taskMust work well under pressure and have ability to juggle multiple tasks at onceStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office and HR database programsMedical Education, pharmaceutical advertising or pharmaceutical industry experience a plus

 

Education: Bachelor’s degree
