Large company in Morris County is hiring and the needs are immediate!  If you have a strong background in medical customer service and medical collections interviews are immediate and salaries are competitive!  These positions are temporary to permanent hire. 

 

Patient Service Coordinator:Respond to patient requests and needsVerify insurance and benefit coverageWork with insurance carriers for pre-authorizationsEnsure all required medical information and forms are submitted accuratelyMaintain updated patient informationLiaison between customer and insurance carrierPatient schedulingDocument all referral, coverage, and benefit informationFollow up with providers, patients, and internal employees to guarantee accurate informationData entry of medical coding and claims

 

Customer Service Representative:Respond to a high volume of patient and provider inquires via inbound call centerProvide information pertaining to claim adjustments including:  method of self-payment, co-pay or deductible amounts, reason for denial, claims status, eligibility and referralsInsurance and benefit verifications Audit the explanation of benefitsUse personal judgment to resolve customer questions, complaints and requestsData entry of medical claims and medical codesUpdate and maintain correct patient information in company database

 

Medical Collectors:Review EOBs for accuracy of billing and for any payments madeFollow up with insurance companies on past due and denied claimsPost payments from insurance companies against the EOBEvaluate if claim was short paid or deniedPerform collection and run aging reports weekly Adjusting coding and patient information for claims purposesDocument all information accuratelyData entry of medical coding and claims

 

Requirements:Ready to start right awayHigh school diploma or GEDExperience in aging reportsExcellent decision maker and problem solver Strong organizational skillsMust have strong knowledge and application of medical terminologyComputer skills including intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel
