Medical Education Coordinator

Swedish Medical Center, the largest nonprofit healthcare provider in the Greater Seattle area, has an exciting opportunity at its Cherry Hill Campus location for a Medical Education Coordinator. This position coordinates and supports the activities of undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate medical education training. For the Podiatric Surgical Residency, the Coordinator assists the Director and faculty in meeting and maintaining all of the standards and requirements of the accrediting bodies. The coordinator supports the recruitment and day to day operations of the program. The Coordinator also supports numerous fellows in specialty programs, primarily located at the Cherry Hill Campus. In addition, the Coordinator serves as a representative for the Library and Physicians’ Lounge materials at the Cherry Hill Campus. Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree and one to two years of experience in a medically or educationally related field are preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience accepted. Skills in keyboard usage, Microsoft Office, medical terminology, editing and grammar, office procedures, excellent communication, flexibility, discretion, sensitivity, and confidentiality are required.
