Medical Office Billing/Collections/Front Desk for Techs and Manager

Our busy Opthalmology office in Fairview Heights IL is seeking experienced billing and collections clerks and a manager.  Candidates must have a solid medical coding and billing background, with Ophthalmology or Retina strongly desired.  This position works closely with front desk staff in patient scheduling, reminder calls and collection of fees.

Detailed oriented, highly motivated team players with the ability to multi task in a challenging environment.  This position requires strong follow up skills, the ability to work independently, meet specific timelines, exercise critical thinking skills and analytical processes.  Must have extensive history of working denied claims, accounts receivable, obtaining referrals/authorizations, verifying eligibility and dealing with patients.  Job seekers should be able to work collection accounts, financial hardship and payment plans.  Coding certification preferred.

Managers must have experience managing staff in a clinic setting.  Ability to oversee work of others and manage department independently.  A positive 'go to' person who enjoys a challenge.
