Medical Office Shift Manager (FT and PT) - Still Open! April 14, 2008

Job Purpose:

Maintains office operations by answering phones, dispatching mobile x-ray technicians, calling back x-ray results, resolving any issues that our customers may have, and providing excellent customer service to our customers.  Supervises shift by ensuring that operational goals are met and issues are resolved quickly and professionally.  Supervises 1 office assistant.



We currently have 2 positions available:  1.  Shift Manager, M-F 3pm - 11pm, 2.  Office Assistant, Sat & Sun 11pm - 7am.


Duties:

* Answer 7 line phone.

* Dispatch mobile x-ray technicians to correct facility and give them correct patient and exam information.


* Call back x-ray results to our customers after the Radiologist reads the exams.


* Re-fax results when customers call and ask for reports.


* Re-solve any issues that customers may call about.


* Provide regular updates to Director of Operations and Office Manager.


* Keep track of Stat xrays and ensure that they are completed and results are called back with our promised Stat turn around time.


* Provide excellent customer service to our customers.


Skills/Qualifications:

Office Experience - General, Scheduling, Telephone Skills, Typing, Documentation Skills, Meeting Planning, Verbal Communication, Written Communication, Dependability, Attention to Detail, Administrative Writing Skills.  Computer skills including Microsoft Office.  Excellent customer service skills.
