Medical Project Leader/Install Coordinator-Eclipsys

This position would serve primarily as the Project Leader planning, directing and coordinating activities of projects of varying sizes to ensure that goals and objectives of the projects are accomplished within a determined time frame and in a cost effective manner. Establishes work plans to determine schedule, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources in the project phases.   Responsible for the overall project management in the development and installation of information systems.  The following are duties to be performed by the successful candidate:

Prepare detailed project proposals. Participate in all phases of project implementation including planning, evaluating, selecting, testing, and training. Maintains project plans, schedules and issues lists. Provides technical and analytical expertise and product knowledge required to provide for successful implementation and continued support. Coordinate project assignments. Coordinate and assist in preparation of documentation of functional specifications, conversion specifications, interface specifications, maintenance procedures, and all other project documentation as needed. Ensure documentation is maintained for all changes applied to systems.  Maintain project budgets by identifying and tracking capital and operating expenses. Provide consultative services to assigned areas and serves as a liaison between management, users and other assigned personnel. Serve as the primary contact for problem resolution, user interaction and status of projects, preparing reports as needed.  Provide ongoing technical support post-system implementation and assists with additional corrections, enhancements and change requests.Work with users to determine and assess any future needs.  May make hiring recommendations, assist in performance reviews and other personnel functions for assigned employees.

 

Required Skills:

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in one of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Information Management, or related field in order to provide consultative and technical expertise to customers3-5 years related technical experienceStrong analytical abilities required to interact with customers to evaluate work and provide technical assistancePrevious budgetary responsibilites
