We are looking for dedicated, persistent people who will work as part of our motivated team.  We're looking for ROI Associates to work on site at our location in Bay City and Lansing, MI. Essential Functions:·          Responsible for processing all requests for release of medical information according to federal, state, and facility guidelines in a timely fashion.  ·          Adheres to strict confidentiality guidelines of all requests. ·          Acts as primary phone contact for all requests for copies of medical records and medical information.       ·          Completes requests for medical information from requesters·          Processes records for patient transfers·          Responsible for accepting and processing subpoenas issued by either courts of law or attorneys in accordance with facility procedures·          Reviews all requests for proper authorization and prepares appropriate responses·          Maintains logs of release of information·          Computes appropriate charges for medical information requests and tracks invoices and payments·          Appears in court as needed to provide medical information and represent the facility·          Answers phones, greets and assists customers and performs other customer service related and clerical duties.·          May perform other duties as necessary to meet company and department objectives Education, Experience & Licensure:·          One to two years prior experience working in the medical records department·          Six months of related computer experience·          High degree of tact and patience for interaction with physicians who need to complete their medical records.·          Constant attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness·          Analytical ability to discern compliance with authorization requirements PHNS offers a competitive benefits package consisting of:  ·   401K ·   Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance ·   Paid Time Off ·   Life Insurance ·   Medical and Dependent Flexible Spending Accounts ·   Tuition Reimbursement ·   College Bound Fund ·   Critical Illness Plan ·   And much more!!!
