Medical Recruiter

OVERVIEW: 

Nova Health Care Centers, the recognized leader in outpatient Occupational Medicine and Rehabilitation throughout the Dallas Metropolitan area, is seeking a Medical Recruiter with at least three years of recruiting experience that preferably is/was heavily focused on sourcing high-level, healthcare professionals such as MDs, Physical and Occupational Therapists, Medical/Clinical. Although not required, a Bachelors Degree is also preferred along with local residency.

 

POSITION SUMMARY: 

This individual will be responsible for full-cycle employee recruitment including but not limited to: Working with management and supervisors to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills; development of specific recruiting plans; coordinating position advertising; developing relationships with staffing agencies, college and university placement offices; attending career fairs; interviewing potential candidates, performing background and reference checks; reporting hiring statistics; writing and editing job descriptions; developing creative recruitment programs to attract qualified applicants to fill specific job openings; initiating contact with possibly qualified candidates; reviewing applications and interviewing applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements and, to provide information about the organization and position. This position will also be responsible for general Human Resource duties to assist the processes of the Nova Healthcare corporate office.


REQUIREMENTS for Consideration: 
* Minimum 3 years experience in employment/recruitment.
* Ability to maintain strong relationships at the highest professional level.
* Consummate people skills.
* Demonstrated talent at interacting effectively with all types of people.
* Ability to articulate verbal and/or written ideas clearly and concisely in a  variety of settings, adjusting the message to match the audience.
* Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
* Strong working knowledge of the day-to-day staffing operations and processes.
* PC and Microsoft office proficiency.

* Familiarity with a recruitment database/search programs.

* Highly effective organizational skills.
* Capability of working independently, with little to no supervision.
* Ability to make firm and accurate judgments.

* Proactive, methodical and results-oriented.
* Prioritizes multiple tasks successfully without losing composure and compromising productivity.
* In-depth knowledge of employment laws and policies.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality.

* Adept and experienced in phone assessments and, is does not possess any “phone reluctance.”
* Currently possess eligibility to work in the United States.
