Medical Referral Coordinator

Prestigious  Boston health care organization seeks an organized, detailed, and bright individual to work as medical referral coordinator in a busy clinical area. Individual should have a minimum of two years of prior experience. 

Under the direction of the physician the appropriate candidate will obtain and manage care insurance referral and authorizations for patients undergoing procedures. 

Duties include interacting with the insurance companies, the patients and the physician. This individual will also document and must posses strong follow through skills. Strong communication and organizational skills are necessary. In addition, the candidate must have strong technical skills as excel spreadsheets are to be completed.
