Medical Sales Representative - Albany, NY

THE COMPANY:

I am an Executive Recruiter in the Medical Technology Industry. I am looking for a Proven Successful Sales achiever, with a stable work history and 5+ years of quality 'Relationship-Based' sales experience.

*You MUST be able to demonstrate you have the ability to be trained in Medical Technology and to communicate that knowledge clearly and with confidence.  Retail sales professionals need not apply.

In business since the 1800's, our client has become a market leader in developing cost-effective products that get the job done for surgeons, and are easy for the nursing staff to use. They offer a wide range of products and services giving operating rooms the tools needed to get the job done. 

THE JOB:

Represent our client in the Albany, NY Territory, and take necessary action to attain sales objectives. This position will report directly to the District Manager who, in turn, reports directly to the Vice President of Sales. This position has the challenges of attaining sales goals, both maintenance and growth, established by the company. The development of business with the buying potential of the territory. Creating new and existing customers to establish long-term mutually profitable relationships.

You will be responsible for the following:Sells the product line to current and new accounts. Educates the customers of new and current pricing, backorders, new products, and company policies. Completes extensive in-service of products to all concerned individuals. Plans sales calls on a continuous basis, managing sales time effectively. Develops in-depth technical understanding of all products. Educates District Manager of all competitive activity and significant market changes. Achieves fast, mutually agreeable solutions to customer complaints. Analyzes customer needs and creates solutions.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
