As a Medical Secretary at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates, you are expected to provide exceptional patient care. From the moment a patient receives a call from our practice, your interaction with them should provide unmatched customer service. Our patients should feel that their care is well coordinated and that their scheduling needs were met. Our patients come from all walks of life with diverse backgrounds and medical experiences, excellent oral and written communication skills are mandatory to effectively perform in this position. Our Medical Secretaries should have excellent organizational and time management skills and be able to accurately schedule timely appointments, coordinate with internal and external provider locations, and enter details into our computer system. Our Medical Secretaries should have a basic understanding of the major body system functions and knowledge of medical terminology. Working at Harvard Vanguard means being a part of a highly competent team of caregivers, your ability to meet this standard is essential.  This position is primarily phones with a heavy volume of calls.

Optimal qualifications for this position would include at least a year of experience working in a busy clinical practice, a demonstrated ability to multi – task, a work record with an impeccable attendance record and performance that often exceeds expectations. When staffing levels allow, we will consider newly graduated Medical Secretaries from accredited training programs, with solid performance and attendance records.
