Medical Secretary for Small Outpatient Psychiatry Practice

MEDICAL SECRETARY FOR SMALL OUTPATIENT PSYCHIATRY PRACTICE

 

Permanent 24-28 hours/week position near Scottsdale Civic Center/old town Scottsdale. Position to be filled immediately.

 

Duties will include, but may not be limited to:

·  Answer two-line phone system

·  Bill and collect from BC/BS insurance and patients; monitor accounts receivable; initiate collection calls and reminders

·  Daily database backups

·  Screen new patients and verify their insurance information

·  Maintain patient files and medication cards

·  Maintain patient confidentiality

·  Maintain office supplies inventory

·  Scheduling, filing, and some typing

 

Skills and Qualifications:

·  Proficiency with Medisoft billing software is required

·  Scheduling

·  Telephone skills

·  Good people skills

·  Typing

·  Good organizational and time management skills
