Medical Transcriptionist II

Requirements: Strong word processing skills required.Min 1 year medical transcription experience or completion of a medical transcription program. Knowledge of medical terminology.Ability to communicate clearly and tactfully in order to interact appropriately with co-workers, physicians, patients and customers.Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with time constraints.Ability to prioritize workload and maximize time usageWorks calmly and effectively when challenged.High attention to detail and accuracy.Reflects initiative and teamwork.Excellent customer service skills required.Knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office.* Ability to work on site in the department on second shift. Description: Transcribe various inpatient, outpatient, and diagnostic reports according to established standards which are dictated by the medical staff, while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
