Medicare Claim Analyst - Eau Claire, WI

Use multiple resources to administer appropriate claim payment. Work independently as well as collaboratively within a larger team. Consult with other team members or outside business groups on claim issues. Analyze and identify trends and provide reports as necessary. Recommend and implement quality improvement initiatives.Qualifications: 2+ years experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word & Excel) required.  1+ year experience with claim or appeal processing required.  Familiarity with CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-9 coding is highly preferred.  Exposure to both hospital and physician claims processing highly preferred.  Working knowledge of Medicare reimbursement methodologies is helpful.  Strong analytical and problem solving skills that enable quick identification and efficient resolution of issues. Diversity creates a healthier atmosphere:  equal opportunity employer M/F/D/V.  UnitedHealth Group is a drug-free workplace.  Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment.
