Tactile Systems Technology, Inc was founded in 1995 to develop and market a medical device for the effective home treatment of lymphedema and venous insufficiencies.  Tactile Systems has an excellent opportunity for a talented self-starter to be integral in developing the company’s initial relationship with Medicare.  The ideal candidate will have; clinical experience with proven written and verbal communication skills, as well as a strong understanding of third-party payer regulations and processes with an emphasis on Medicare.

Job Responsibilities include:Working with third party payers in case management, medical policy, utilization reviewWorking with physicians,  patients and field reps to obtain medical record documentation to meet Medicare policy criteria for medical deviceCollaborating with Reimbursement department to develop successful Medicare submissionsDevelop written appeals of Medicare denialsCommunicate (verbal and written) with Medicare regarding individual coverage and clinical issues

Job Requirements:

College degree preferred, clinical experience desirable

3+ years in medical device or health care reimbursement

Third party payer experience, preferably with Medicare

Demonstrated persuasive written and verbal communication skills

Exceptional critical thinking skills
